Significatogenèse, in french, means the process of generating signification.

In contrast, Semiophilia is the tendency to seek meaning in things, in a spiritual sense.

The first term was invented by Mario Amehou. The second one, by Benjamin Efrati. They were working on developing a new theater theory, “Spontaneous Rituals”. Since then, they also invented “Free Setting of Informational Contents”, a multi-platform/disciplin creation technique.
